Several people have asked if we plan to meet. Please post here if you would like to meet occasionally/regularly plus days/times that are preferable for you. Central Cambridge is probably the natural location, perhaps at a pub and if there are any other relevant factors or problems with transport, eg "wheels5894" is a wheelchair user, lets have your views?

I'd be up for meeting up sometime,,

The Salisbury has always been a favourite pub for me. I'm trying to remember if the main door has a step? Lots of space, good beer and not in the town centre!

Another idea (depending on potential turn out) might be to meet up at Skeptics in the Pub (http://cambridge.skepticsinthepub.org/) and possibly let them know we exist! (February has blogger Jack of Kent doing a talk!).
I realise that that might not be ideal as atheism isn't necessarily arrived at from skepticism..

Wheels lives in Scotland btw.. http://www.camsecsoc.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=4121307). It would be good to have the steps angle covered regardless!

I would be interested in meeting.  In or around Cambridge would suit me best but I could travel further if required.

I'd be keen to meet from time to time. I live in Linton but Cambridge would suit me. I like the Salisbury too.

Well it seems like four of us think it worthwhile meeting so shall we arrange it? If so could you post any days/times that are not possible for you and we can pick from what is left?

Let me start. As I work from home in Melbourn any weekday evening is possible, central Cambridge, a pub 8.00pm?

I'm a bit more awkward I'm afraid. I can do nearly every Friday, and occassionally Mondays and Wednesdays. A central Cambridge pub would work for me.

I live in Haverhill and can make most weekday evenings, except Tuesdays.  I can also make weekends.  I would prefer to avoid school holidays,e.g. w/c 15th Feb.

Shall we wait and see if godfree responds? I am away next week so maybe we should make it the first week of March and decide the day later?

I think a regular meet would be a good idea. It would give some momentum.
I don't really have any regular engagements so I should be able to make most days although I am starting a project in Cornwall which might involve meetings at short notice.

Should we provisionally pencil in Friday 5 March, Cambridge, venue and time to be confirmed?

Sadly, I'll have to give it a miss on 5th March as I'll be away on a lads' walking weekend in Derbyshire. Have fun though.

Hi jessie and godfree

Are you both still up for meeting this Friday?

If so godfree suggested the Salisbury in Tenison Road, is that ok with you Jessie? 8pm ok?

Alternatively we can wait until pbrichardson returns from his hols?

Personally, I would prefer to wait for a date which suits all of us, if that's OK.  If we are going for a Friday, I can make all of them in March but would be a little late on the 19th.

Look forward to meeting all of you.
